Could you please clarify me the following queries:

    1. How many default terminal lincenses come along with Windows 2008?

    2. If I want to use Windows 2008 Terminal Services for evaluation purpose (without activating the TS Server), how many clients concurrently can access the TS server for that evaluation period (I think the evaluation

There are no Terminal Services CALs bundled with any version of Windows Server. They are a separate purchase.

What does come with Windows Server is the ability to use Terminal Services in ‘Remote Administration’ mode. This supports 2 remote sessions maximum, and is intended for users to remotely connect to and administer the server.

The Evaluation Period on a Terminal Server allows an unlimited number of clients to connect to the server during both the ‘Grade Period’ and the ‘Temporary token’ period. After that time, you MUST deploy a TS Licensing server, and install the appropriate number of TS CALs, if you wish to continue using the Terminal Server. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=813052 for more information.
