Help playing Starcraft on Battlenet through a router

I just got cable internet access and have set up 2 computers through a router to share the connection/IP address. Everything works fine from both computers, except when we both try to play a game of Starcraft together on Battle.net. It seems that we both can’t join a game at the same time. When one of us is joined, it won’t let the other join any games. The router manual (Linksys 4 port BEFSR41) mentions that other games such as Half Life need special configuration to work properly, but says nothing about Starcraft. Can anybody help me? I’m using WIN98 (both computers). Thanks very much…sorry for only 75 points, but it’s all I’ve got!
